    Bulldogs in Service Day

The inaugural national day of community service was held April 5, 2008. “Bulldogs in Service Day” brought over 380 alumni, students, university staff, faculty, family, friends, and Deltas from across the nation together in their local communities to work on one-day service projects that made a real difference to others.  There were 13 projects across the country plus one in Salzburg, Austria.  Delta Cathy Schilling chaired the event and was very pleased with the outcome.  Deltas who were project leaders included Tara and Brooke Szabo in Denver, CO, Judy Crowell in Portland, OR, Betsy Bird in Austin, TX and Margi Buller in San Diego.  Many other Deltas were participants.  You just can't keep those Delta girls down!
