Bulldogs in Service Day
The inaugural national day of community service was held April 5, 2008. “Bulldogs in Service Day” brought over 380 alumni, students, university staff, faculty, family, friends, and Deltas from across the nation together in their local communities to work on one-day service projects that made a real difference to others. There were 13 projects across the country plus one in Salzburg, Austria. Delta Cathy Schilling chaired the event and was very pleased with the outcome. Deltas who were project leaders included Tara and Brooke Szabo in Denver, CO, Judy Crowell in Portland, OR, Betsy Bird in Austin, TX and Margi Buller in San Diego.
Delta alumnae continue to chair and actively participate in this annual event which is now held each fall - go Deltas! If you would like to particiate, contact the University of Redlands Office of Alumni and Community Relations for information on this year's event.

Each of us can make a difference in our communities and in the world.
Centennial Park was made possible by the generous support of alumni and friends of the University of Redlands:
Kenneth '60 and Lynn Hall
Jack and Laura Dangermond
Delta Kappa Psi Sorority
Delta's effort to raise money in support of the Centennial Park project was spearheaded by Lori Hays Hatfield '80 who recognized the unslightly piece of property the park would be located on was triangular in shape...how perfect! Centennial Park now pleasantly greets those exiting the eastbound I-10 freeway at University Street.
Dedicated on March 24, 2011, Centennial Park commemorates the 100th anniverary of the University of Redlands and salutes the exceptional and beneficial relationship that exists between the Redlands community and the University.
